Role OverviewANS is seeking a Network Engineer (Implementation Engineer) to join our team in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will plan, analyze, design, develop, test, secure, integrate, implement, operate, and maintain custom solutions that ANS delivers.
What You Will Do
The Network Engineer will interpret customer requirements, apply standard design approaches, schedule maintenance windows, provide technical expertise, develop secure network designs, and supervise other network support specialists.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have 10 years of experience, a TS/SCI w/ Poly, and expertise in network engineering, design, and implementation. They will be compliant with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 and have experience with Cisco, Brocade, and/or Juniper.
Requirements
- TS/SCI w/ Poly
- 10 years of experience in network engineering, design, and implementation
- Compliance with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
- Experience with Cisco, Brocade, and/or Juniper
- Hands-on experience with standard routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Hands-on experience with standard switching and trunking protocols (VLANs, 802.1q, port-channels)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Professional - Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIP-ENT) equivalent knowledge
