Role OverviewThe Network Engineer serves as a multi-discipline IT professional with a primary focus on network administration and multi-platform environments. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and support secure, resilient network infrastructures across on-premises, virtualized, and cloud deployments.
What You Will Do
Design network pathways, implement quality of service policies, design LAN and WAN architecture, maintain end-to-end encryption, manage firewalls, configure and maintain network switches, design and manage high-density Wi-Fi networks, and manage and secure dedicated circuits and internet gateways.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional IT experience, Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist or equivalent professional networking certification, and experience supporting and securing edge/IoT network devices and enterprise networks.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional IT experience
- Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist or equivalent professional networking certification
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with routers, switches, and firewalls in on-premises, virtualized, and cloud network environments
- Experience supporting and securing edge/IoT network devices and enterprise networks
- Experience with datacenter cross-connects and interconnects
