Role OverviewWe are looking for a Network Engineer to perform Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) functions, assisting our Intelligence Community (IC) customer. The position involves leveraging technical expertise to provide project management support, continuity of effort, and value-added judgment to shape, recommend, and troubleshoot a broad range of activities affecting Network Infrastructure Service Provisioning and the IT baseline.
What You Will Do
The successful applicant will work on a variety of tasks, including troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 related issues, recommending architecture and acquisition plans, and performing business case analysis. They will also work independently and as part of a team to ensure quality assurance and assist with the culture shift per customer's vision/needs.

Requirements
- Working knowledge of networking hardware such as routers (Cisco, Juniper), switches (Cisco, Juniper, Brocade), Firewalls (Palo Alto, ASA, Sidewinder, IPtables)
- Experience with network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Multicast, VOIP, HSRP, etc.
- Experience with environments such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, VMWare), high-speed processing, Big Data
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent writing, organization, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to skillfully manage multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously
- Clearance required to start: TS/SCI with Polygraph
