Role OverviewThe Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Network Modeling and Simulation Engineer to provide support in the Network/Systems Department (NSD) to lead and perform trade studies, analyses, and simulations of space network architectures. The selected candidate will work full time on-site at our facility at El Segundo, CA.
What You Will Do
Participate in multi-disciplinary engineering teams in development and analysis of future network architectures and requirements, analyze and simulate complex network architectures and protocols, engage in systems architecture definition, development, analysis, modeling & simulation, and prototype development/validation.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis, OSI and TCP/IP models and in network design, analysis, and modeling & simulation.
- Applied research in analytical, simulation, and/or experimental skills.
- Experience in software development in Python or C/C++.
- Ability to present results effectively in briefings and technical reports.
- Willing to travel, as needed (up to 10%).
