Role OverviewThe Network Technician I will support facilities management, site security, and project engagement with a commitment to satisfying customers by completing all work at the highest level. The candidate must be motivated and self-driven for success.
What You Will Do
The technician will perform tasks such as patching cabling, installing and troubleshooting network equipment, and providing hardware break-fix services for network infrastructure.

Requirements
- Must be proficient in utilizing technical tools such as Sniffers, BERT testers, cable testers, and fiber testers.
- Requires experience in working in communications closets
- Must understand cable patching processes and procedures
- Must be familiar with 66 Block and 110 Block cross connect procedures
- Must have a basic knowledge of data communications networking
- Must be able to assist in troubleshooting issues
- Must understand network terminology
- Must be familiar with IP phone
- Must be able to program Cisco phones
- Must be able to install Avaya phones
- Must be able to troubleshoot Avaya and Cisco phones
- Requires good interpersonal communications skills
