Job Description
The Neutralization Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring that chemicals not suitable for finished product are disposed of properly and that the process is accurately documented. The role requires working effectively with the Quality Assurance and Production teams to consistently produce and supply products that exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Adhere to guidelines set out by methods, SOP’s, the Quality Management System, and general lab practice policies.
  • Observe safe work practices using proper safety precautions and procedures.
  • Perform chemical neutralization process of off spec materials, filters, rags, etc.
  • Understand plant labeling requirements and ensure that all chemicals are properly labeled.
  • Maintain pH meter and other laboratory equipment to ensure the accuracy of measurements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
