Job Description
BloombergNEF is seeking an experienced New Business Development Specialist to join their North America commercial team. The candidate will lead BNEF's business development efforts across the New York and broader Northeast US region, focusing on financial institutions and their understanding of the energy transition. The role involves origination of new client relationships, strategic development of key client relationships, collaboration with Bloomberg's terminal business, and travel to conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree at a minimum
  • Minimum of five years of experience building energy, utility, industrial and/or tech industry relationships
  • Experience building enterprise relationships
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets year over year
  • A strong interest and experience in energy transition and sustainability
  • Desire and ability to travel to conduct face-to-face meetings with clients and prospects
  • A confirmed ability to work on parallel tasks and collaborate across teams
  • An assiduous attention to detail
