Job Description
We're a multimedia company looking for a News Producer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field, and previous experience in journalism or a related internship. You will be responsible for developing good enterprise stories, making and maintaining contacts, and handling multi-platform content responsibilities. Strong writing, organization, and attention to detail are central to the success of this position.

Requirements

  • Log and identify great video and compelling soundbites.
  • Write and post copy daily on all digital platforms, including WIFR.com, as new information is learned.
  • Understanding of and adherence to AP Style (for digital platforms) and broadcast writing (for television).
  • Solid news judgement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to write clearly and concisely.
