Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative journalist to lead our market-leading newscasts at 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, thrives under deadline pressure, and has a strong grasp of local and national news.

Requirements

  • College degree in journalism or a related field
  • At least one or more year of newsroom or producing experience
  • Research skills, news judgment, and critical thinking skills
  • Time management skills and adaptability
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy in a breaking news situation
  • Knowledge of CMS and digital platforms, as well as newscast producing and editing technology
  • Flexibility to work different hours and shifts if needed
