Role Overview

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing, balancing, and reporting on various areas of the hotel to provide accurate and timely information. You will respond to guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, providing services and answering inquiries. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will include auditing and balancing cash and credit operations, preparing and verifying reports, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for responding to guest inquiries, providing services, and ensuring the hotel's policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Accounting background preferred, but not required
  • Ability to operate personal computer, cash register, and calculator
  • Ability to compile facts and figures
  • Moderate hearing required to communicate with guests
  • Excellent vision required for viewing of CRT screen
  • Excellent speech communication skills required to communicate with guests over the telephone
  • Excellent comprehension and literacy required for reading daily reports, numbers, etc.
