Non CDL Straight Truck Driver

US Cargo, a family-oriented transportation company, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as a Non CDL Straight Truck Driver at their Brook Park, OH terminal. The company is committed to safety, service, and employees. The role involves providing service to customers by making pick-ups and deliveries in a non-CDL 24'-26' Straight Truck.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include loading and unloading freight, performing frequent lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying of freight, securing freight, inspecting the vehicle for defects, and complying with federal regulations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 21 years of age
• A minimum of 1 year verifiable experience driving a non-commercial motor vehicle similar to the type utilized by US CARGO
• Must pass a US CARGO driving test administered by an approved US CARGO trainer or US CARGO designee
• Must have a hazardous material and tank endorsement or obtain said endorsement within 90 days of employment
• Must possess only one valid driver's license issued by the State in which the driver resides
• Must have no record of a driving license suspension or revocation covering the last 36-month period
• Must have no record of citation or conviction for the violations listed below during the past 36-month period
• Must have no past pattern or record of involvement in more than three motor vehicle violations, at-fault traffic accidents, or motor vehicle violations
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination
• Must consent to a pre-employment drug screen
• Must consent to a ten-year check on work history
