Our Caregiver career opportunities are in our group home settings and responsibilities could include providing supports, teaching, transporting, caregiving, personal care and hygiene assistance, training, educating, mentoring, coaching, community outings, and shopping.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or accredited GED
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance, and dependable transportation to and from work
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of your total body weight, whichever is less
  • Work experience or knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is beneficial, but not required
  • CNA, CMA, HHA, Caregiver or Direct Support experience is beneficial, but not required
  • Able to attend a two week, weekday, day time orientation
