Requirements
- Graduation from high school or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) Certificate
- Valid California Driver's License - Class C
- Valid medical examiner's certificate issued in accordance with the motor carrier safety regulations of the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate
- Successful completion of a Basic Bus Driver Education Course (10 classroom hours) provided by Modesto City Schools
- Successful completion of ten (10) hour behind-the-wheel Basic Driver Education Course provided by Modesto City Schools
