Job Description
Role Overview

This is a remote/rotational position, working three weeks on/three weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided.

What You Will Do

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of typical light duty non-mobile or Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Performs routine maintenance and repair of typical light oilfield and construction equipment, including but not limited to large volume pumps, light plants, diesel fired heaters, portable generator sets, portable air compressors, and other auxiliary equipment on a journeyman level with minimum guidance from supervisor.

Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and exhibit normal balance and coordination. These basic physical requirements are essential for safe performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience or formal training at an accredited technical college as a non-mobile or GSE mechanic in the construction, military, aircraft support or oilfield industries.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer.
  • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) certification training if needed.
