Job Description
Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner is responsible for improving the practice of nursing and other healthcare staff at University Hospital/Clinic patients. They use and develop tools, theories, skills, and knowledge to improve practice, work under supervision of Clinical Education Professional Development (CEPD) Education Manager.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a related field within 3 years of hire.
  • 3 years of directly related experience, preferably in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by Texas Board of Nursing
  • Certification in Nursing Professional Development within 1-1/2 years
