Job Description
Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner is a graduate-prepared nurse with or without certification in NPD, responsible for improving nursing practice and healthcare staff at UT Southwestern University Hospital/Clinic. Works under supervision of Clinical Education Professional Development (CEPD) Education Manager.
Requirements
Master's Degree in a related field within 3 years of hire.
3 years of directly related experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
Licensure as a Registered Nurse by Texas Board of Nursing.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accreditation by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Certification in Nursing Professional Development within 1-1/2 years.
