Role OverviewProvide technical support for maintenance and operations, maintain and improve mill-wide automation, and conduct training to ensure continuous improvements.
What You Will Do
Maintain and improve mill-wide automation, including PLC's, HMI's, Level 2 systems, drives, and industrial robots. Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and Drive software and programming issues.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The candidate must be able to work rotating shifts, demonstrate a strong understanding of computer programming and automation design, and have a solid understanding of electrical engineering principles.
Requirements
- Two year degree in a related field or 3 years of equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of the rolling process and related equipment
- Proficient in PLC, HMI, and Drive software and programming
- Strong PLC, HMI, Drives, Networking and Computer troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles
