Job Description
Role Overview

Assists physicians in the diagnosis of disease by performing nuclear medicine testing, calibrating equipment, and following radiation safety guidelines. Works under general supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Coordinator.

What You Will Do

Reviews physician orders, explains procedures to patients, performs organ visualization procedures, records computer calculations, and prepares test reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Requires a degree in nuclear medicine technology, registration or eligibility as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and licensure to work in Massachusetts. Experience preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Degree in nuclear medicine technology
  • Registration or eligibility as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Licensure to work as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Massachusetts
  • BLS healthcare provider certification
  • D.O.T. certification in Radioactive Waste
