Role OverviewThe Nuclear Medicine technologist assists with providing safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing all exams provided by the department per department protocols. The technologist has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases.
What You Will Do
Perform all exams provided by the department per department protocols, set up equipment to provide imaging service, position patients for procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.

Requirements
- Accredited Program Radiologic Technology
- ARRT-N - ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT - Cert Nuclear Med Tech
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients (may include clinical rotations)
- 1 year NM experience (preferred)
