Role OverviewReporting to the Chief of Hematology/Oncology, the Infusion Nurse Clinician will direct and guide the delivery of patient care, patient and family education and all care-related activities while maintaining and ensuring the maintenance of the standards of professional nursing.
What You Will Do
The Infusion Nurse Clinician is responsible for the safe and effective administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy according to Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards, including medication preparation and administration, survivorship planning, and care coordination.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Associates degree required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing – PREFERRED
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in Infusion Centers or in a Critical Care or Emergency Room
- Current New York State Licensed Registered Professional Nurse
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course – Completion within nine (9) months of hire date
- Safe Handling Basics – Completion within 2 weeks of hire date
