Job Description
In this role, you will oversee the administration, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of nursing services within a government detention facility while ensuring residents receive safe, ethical, evidence-based, culturally competent, and legally compliant healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Direct, supervise, and evaluate nursing operations within government detention and staging facilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care programs
  • Provide clinical leadership for medical, mental health, emergency response, chronic care, intake screening, infection prevention, ambulatory care, and resident wellness services
  • Monitor nursing documentation, medication administration activities, clinical outcomes, infection prevention measures, quality improvement indicators, and resident healthcare services
  • Participate in mortality reviews, root cause analyses, peer reviews, quality management initiatives, performance improvement programs, and healthcare operational assessments
