Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Master's degree in Nursing (for some positions)
  • RNs must have a current licensure in Louisiana
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
