Role OverviewConduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Dunwoody, GA. Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with compensation and pension exams.
What You Will Do
Capture responses during the exam through web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically. Order and conduct ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. Must have a master's degree or completed an approved Physician Assistant Program. Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Master's degree or completed an approved Physician Assistant Program
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and flexibility
- Basic computer skills
- Fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
