Role OverviewMatrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Pearl City, HI. The NP will review medical history documentation, provide exams, and capture responses through web-based forms.
What You Will Do
The Nurse Practitioner will conduct standard exams (musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory) and may order ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) to be conducted on location or nearby.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills, be flexible, and able to work independently and as part of a team. Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements
- Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
- Have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
- Must possess basic computer skills
- All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
