Role OverviewThe Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will report to the Senior Vice President of Medical Services and is responsible for delivering compassionate and quality medical care of assigned residents in coordination with other members of the health care team.
What You Will Do
Examine residents, deliver quality care, order diagnostic workups, maintain proper documentation, prescribe medication, review testing results, and participate in on-call medical coverage.

The role requires two or more years of experience in a sub-acute or long term care facility, a clean and active license as an NP or PA in New York State, and proficiency in SigmaCare or another EMR software.
Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a sub-acute or long term care facility
- Graduate of an accredited physician assistant or nurse practitioner program
- Clean and active license as an NP or PA New York State, with prescriptive privileges
- Proficient in SigmaCare or another EMR (Electronic Medical Record) software
- Prior experience with the geriatric population
