Role OverviewThe Clinic Advanced Practitioner (APP) serves as primary provider in a Rural Health Clinic setting, providing individualized care to patients of all ages. The role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosing and managing medical conditions, and developing treatment plans. The APP collaborates with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
What You Will Do
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and provide preventive care and health education.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a strong interpersonal communication skill, knowledge of clinical practice standards, and the ability to maintain friendly relations with clients and employees. Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred, but new graduates are also welcome to apply.
Requirements
- MSN, DNP, MPAS, DMSc, or equivalent advanced degree
- Active, unencumbered state license
- Nurse Practitioners must be permitted to treat all age groups, from infant to geriatric, as per their board specialty
- DEA and BLS certification
- DOT certification
