- Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting, plus two years of nurse practitioner experience
- Current North Carolina registered nurse license
- Current North Carolina license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority
- BLS completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained going forward
