Nurse Resident-Emergency Room

Requirements

• Delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients within an assigned unit
• Day to day management and supervision of the related clinical activities
• Supervising and directing the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel
• Adhering to the California Nurse Practice Act, The American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, ANA Bill of Rights for Registered Nurses and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice for Nurses
• Speaking and reading English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position
• Knowledge of standard office equipment and personal computer and computer software skills
• Performing other duties as assigned
• Following Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards
