Role OverviewThe Nurse Tech role involves providing inpatient bedside care for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider. The role requires taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed baths, ambulating, wound care, catheterization, and acting as a safety attendant for patients.
What You Will Do
Perform basic skills per department guidelines, communicate observations to members of the health care team, and act as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This job does not require CNA certification due to the extensive amount of orientation/on the job training provided.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
