Job Description
The Nurse Tech performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Assists in patient admission, discharge, and transfer of patients, and performs procedures consistent with standards set forth by their school of nursing and level of nursing education completed under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an RN program, completion of one semester of clinical rotations
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or completion of a Nursing Assistant Program
  • Current Louisiana LPN or RN license
