Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position Nurse's Aide to join our team in the Health Care Center.
Requirements
Certification as a Nurse's Aide
One (1) year of experience in patient care in a hospital or nursing home
Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (nursing home)
Experience providing nursing services to patients with dementia
Experience working with the veterans population
Experience working with clients/patients with behavioral health issues or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Experience documenting in an Electronic Health Record (e-MAR)
