What You Will Do
Deliver classroom, web-enhanced, and/or online course instruction; mentor and advise students; participate in department and college curriculum development, accreditation, and review; engage in scholarly and professional development activities. Course assignments include day, evening, and weekend hours, and offsite locations.

Candidates must have a graduate degree in nursing or a bachelor's in nursing with a graduate degree in a support field, two years of full-time RN experience (one year within the last five), and current unencumbered RN licensure in Minnesota. Preferred qualifications include higher education teaching experience with diverse populations, recent acute care or long-term care experience, and experience with curriculum development and technology-enhanced instruction.
Requirements
- Graduate degree with a major in nursing, or Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a graduate degree in support of the field of nursing and/or education
- Two full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered nurse at the professional level
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field (waived if two years of successful full-time postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years)
- Current unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse with current registration in Minnesota
- Compliance with clinical affiliate policies for attending on-site clinical teaching assignments
