Role OverviewThis position of Nursing House-wide Supervisor has the responsibility for supervising and managing clinical staff, including nursing, social work and counseling staff on the off-shift to ensure excellent standards of compassionate, person-centered care are maintained. Fulfills the role of onsite Administrator-On-Duty (AOD) and provides leadership, guidance, mentorship, and support to clinical staff to ensure safety and smooth running of all clinical services.
What You Will Do
Supervise and direct the work of nursing, social work and counseling staff on the off shifts (evening, weekends, and holidays). Plan and manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and appropriate skill mix across the hospital. Evaluate staff performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews and staff competencies, as assigned.

Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
- Licensed and currently registered to practice professional nursing in New York State
- Baccalaureate in Nursing (or five years of acute care nursing experience) required
- Progressive leadership experience appropriate to position in an acute care facility for a minimum of two years
- Successful completion of ACLS Program within six (6) months of employment
