Role OverviewThe Nursing Lab Specialist will play a vital role in supporting student academic success by preparing, assisting, and resetting lab sessions. The specialist will work in conjunction with the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to coordinate instructional lab sessions, support the purchasing and re-stocking of nursing lab supplies, and operate the patient simulator and debrief system. The specialist will also adhere to standards and safety protocols in the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include working in conjunction with the Nursing Lab Manager and faculty to coordinate instructional lab sessions, supporting the purchasing and re-stocking of nursing lab supplies, and operating the patient simulator and debrief system. The specialist will also set up simulation and skills labs to facilitate effective academic sessions and deliver a theatrical production of scenarios to students in accordance with the academic plan.

Requirements
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related area of study or equivalent skills and healthcare experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and students
