Role OverviewThe Nursing/Simulation Lab Professor will educate students and develop lab curricula and patient simulations in the Nursing Simulation Lab at Nashua Community College. This position reports to the Department Chairperson of the Nursing Department at Nashua Community College. The professor will teach, assist, and manage patient simulations for individual clinical groups and courses. They will also maintain accessibility and availability to assist students with their learning needs while in the Nursing Simulation Lab.
What You Will Do
The professor will teach assigned laboratory course schedules in the Simulation Lab setting for the Nursing Program, teach assigned specialty lectures across the curriculum, and manage, schedule, and set up patient simulations for individual clinical groups and courses. They will also demonstrate teaching effectiveness through the development, modification, delivery, and evaluation of program laboratory curricula and instructional materials.

Requirements
- Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Nursing with a concentration in medical/surgical nursing; or Master's degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Health Promotion, or a field related to health care or education.
- Six (6) years of teaching experience in nursing, two years of which shall have been in the supervision of students or personnel in educational activities or academic program administration or six (6) years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Nursing, two years’ which shall have been in the supervision of personnel or program/project administration.
- Valid driver's license. Maintains current license to practice as a registered Nurse in NH.
