Role Overview

Assist patients with daily activities, collect and document patient information, and provide compassionate support that helps deliver safe, high-quality care. What You Will Do

Assist patients with activities of daily living, monitor patients, collect vital signs, document observations, and report changes to the licensed nurse. Transport patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility. Perform basic clerical duties and assist with oxygen administration and other patient care tasks under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of a patient care training program (CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT-B, HHA, Military Medical Training, Nursing Assistant, or nursing student who has completed a clinical skills lab) or at least six months of direct patient care experience required
  • Successfully complete department orientation and competency validation within six weeks of hire
