Job Description
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services, responsible for counting, placing items on tray and loading food and supplies in hot or cold transport carriers.
Requirements
Counts and loads food and supplies from pick tickets, in accordance with HACCP guidelines, into hot and/or cold transport carriers as applicable in a timely manner
Counts, prepares, and assembles box lunches when needed
Operates, cleans and maintains equipment and tools in assigned area to include manual and electric pallet jacks
Sets up distribution equipment in preparation for loading
Follows Standard Operating Procedures established by Nutrition Services
Ensures safety of food during preparation and exhibits working knowledge of Nutrition Services HACCP plan and Food Code requirements
