Job Description
NWEA® is a division of HMH dedicated to supporting students and educators through research, assessment solutions, policy and advocacy, professional learning and school improvement services. This role is a Senior Account Manager focused on managing renewals, increasing district adoption of assessments, and identifying new product/service needs. The position requires strong sales experience and a consultative approach to relationship management, with up to 50% travel expected.

Requirements

  • Proven success in account management, renewals, and revenue growth within the education market.
  • Strong sales experience, including upsells, cross-sells, and expansion within existing accounts.
  • Deep understanding of K-12 assessments, district decision-making processes, and funding cycles.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to analyze district data and use insights to drive decision-making.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM tools.
