Job Description
The Criminal Investigations Division of the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) is seeking a Program Specialist who will be responsible for managing the daily evidence and property functions for the Criminal Investigations Division.

Requirements

  • Receives and secures incoming and outgoing evidence
  • Preserves and maintains the chain of custody for all items of evidence
  • Maintains an accurate accounting of all property transfers and releases
  • Coordinates the receipt of incoming and outgoing evidence for outside agencies
  • Accountable for security and integrity of the evidence room, and temporary evidence storage locations
  • Manage and maintain separate filling system of active and non-active files
  • Determines appropriate and lawful disposition of all CID evidence
  • Execute official audits of the evidence room(s) and maintains evidence supplies
  • Assist with the training of new employees on property submissions
  • Testifies in court when subpoenaed
