Job Description
The Maintenance Specialist position involves advanced carpentry and general maintenance work for the Office of the Attorney General’s Facilities and Asset Management Division. The position conducts motor vehicle operations work and provides handyman services as needed.

Requirements

  • Three years of full-time experience working in handyman services, building maintenance and repair, furniture repair, fabrication of modular furniture, and the mounting of pictures, white boards, and audiovisual equipment
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Knowledge of furniture design, hand and power tools, and modular furniture construction
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and perform warehouse-related duties
  • Ability to perform strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds daily
