Job Description

As a Child Support Officer, you will conduct investigations, establish paternity, and enforce child support orders while enjoying a healthy work-life balance and developing hands-on experience.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • Two years of full-time experience in the Child Support Program, credit collections, investigations, legal assistant, legal secretary, customer service, or IV-A eligibility specialist
  • Knowledge of investigative practices and techniques, child support policies, procedures, and processes
  • Skill in interviewing and negotiating, using a personal computer, basic mathematical computations, and effective oral and written communication
