OB Access & Patient Flow Spec - Full Time Night Shift

Coordinates and manages the pre-arrival and arrival of obstetrical patients for inductions, procedures, Obstetrics Emergency Care Center (OBECC) visits, and testing appointments. Serves as the primary liaison between nursing staff, security, registration, and the patient to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient patient access and movement throughout the continuum of obstetrical care.

Requirements

• basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare, scheduling, patient access, or customer service environment
• knowledge of medical terminology and OB procedures
• ability to work with and effectively communicate with a diverse work force
• strong problem-solving skills
• strong organizational skills
