Role Overview

The Occupational Health Nurse reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to the Occupational Health Coordinator. The position is full-time, Monday – Friday, with on-call required after hours for injury management.

What You Will Do

Treatment of on-site injuries, case management for injured workers, medical surveillance for employees, and administration of the Drug and Alcohol program.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The successful candidate holds a valid nursing license in practicing state and current certification in CPR/AED from American Red Cross or AHA. The position requires excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting and willingness to work closely with the Safety Coordinators at the division level.

Requirements

  • Active RN license in state of practice
  • 2 or more years hospital or clinic nursing experience
  • Excellent assessment skills in a clinical setting
  • Phlebotomy
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Travel, as needed
  • No relatives of current employees at the location of employment
