Job Description
The Occupational Safety Technical Advisor will serve as a safety expert by analyzing data, researching solutions, and creating educational materials to help prevent workplace injuries. They will provide training for Ohio employers and BWC employees, coach and mentor field staff, and conduct quality reviews of on-site safety activities. The selected candidate will be assigned to the BWC office closest to their residence.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in public or private organization holding position involved in risk management or loss control activities
  • 3 years of experience in policy development
  • Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, risk management, or related field of study
  • Demonstrated safety experience is preferred
