Job Description
The Occupational Safety Technical Advisor (BWC Technical Resource Consultant) will serve as a safety expert, analyzing data, researching solutions, monitoring regulations, and creating educational materials to prevent workplace injuries. The selected candidate will be assigned to the BWC office closest to their residence. BWC offices are located in Cleveland, Youngstown, Toledo, Canton, Cambridge, Columbus, and Cincinnati.

Requirements

  • 5 yrs. exp. in public or private organization holding position involved in risk management or loss control activities
  • 3 yrs. exp. in policy development
  • Ability to deal with many complex situations & determine specific and appropriate action
  • Good verbal & writing skills
  • Use of analytical tools (e.g. CO monitor, WBGT monitor, tic tracer, stop-time measuring device, voltage tester)
  • Unusual working conditions: this position is overtime exempt
