Role Overview

Wayside is looking for an Occupational Therapist to work with our Young Adult residential programs. This is a part-time post, 20 hours/week. The Occupational Therapist will provide occupational therapy services as part of our intensive Young Adult Therapeutic Care focusing on working with young adults (18 years old to 25 years old) and their families.

What You Will Do

Provide assessments, treatment plan development, and direct intervention to young adults and families seeking OT support. Collaborate with treatment teams, provide consultation, education, and support to clinical staff, young adults, and their families/caregivers.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience serving adolescents with significant mental health needs
  • Experience addressing functioning in the home setting or community setting
  • Experience working with diverse population of individuals
