Job Description
Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, administers complex active and passive therapeutic exercise, ADL training, and cognitive techniques, instructs and motivates students in learning and improving activities of daily living.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AOTA approved education program for OTA (Associate degree or higher)
  • New York State COTA license
  • Interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with others
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs
  • Ability to perform all physical interventions
