  • Evaluates patients motor and neurological capabilities and documents findings
  • Directs, plans, organizes, and executes occupational therapy programs for patients
  • Works with attending physician to establish patient therapy goals
  • Prepares treatment plans consistent with therapy goals
  • Documents patient treatments and progress notes
  • Attends interdisciplinary team conferences and meetings
  • Oversees and instructs occupational therapy assistants and students
  • Maintains professional expertise through workshops and conferences
