Role Overview

As an Occupational Therapist at Northwestern Medicine, you will provide direct patient care, teaching, and participate in committees and departmental process improvement. You will serve as a role model for therapists and clinical interns, demonstrating professional, clinical, communication, education, and leadership activities.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include providing accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers, using effective service recovery skills, communicating effectively with others, and managing work schedule efficiently. You will also contribute to opportunities and processes for continuous improvement, participate in efforts to reduce costs, and demonstrate essential skill competencies in selecting evaluation methods and treatment modalities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapist License in the state of Illinois
