Role Overview

Organizes and conducts Occupational Therapy program to facilitate the rehabilitation of people with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities.

Performs evaluation(s) and develops an effective treatment plan, educates patient/family/caregiver, and initiates discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Evaluation and treatment skills necessary to provide Occupational Therapy
  • Professional initiative, objectivity, good time management and interpersonal skills
  • Physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 Days
  • Ohio licensure status of Limited Permit
  • Licensed by the State of Ohio to practice Occupational Therapy
